Gala Camacho Ferrari
Gala is a Data Scientist at Diagonal, a mathematician and programmer, with a background in education, optimisation and all-things data. She has worked at big corporates and startups within the civil infrastructure and urban planning ecosystem, leading analytics projects strategically and technically.
Gala is passionate about using analytics to explore and break down urban and social inequalities. She sits on the steering committee of Women+ in Geospatial, is in the Expert Advisory Group (Governance Framework) for the Cities Coalition for Digital Rights, and is a member of the Ethics Workstream forthe OECD Geospatial Lab.
Marco Perone
Marco is a software developer from Italy, passionate about functional programming and Domain Driven Design. Other than software perfection he is constantly looking for ways to put software development at the service for creating a better planet for everyone.
Noon van der Silk
Noon is a programmer, originally from Melbourne, Australia but now living in Edinburgh. He has a background in quantum computing, but is now passionate about creating and supporting communities, alternative economic models, and working with others to make progress on the climate crisis.
Rosie Wright
Rosie is social innovation researcher based in London, whose work focuses on inclusive changemaking and using new technologies for social good. She also works as a consultant, building on her previous career working in international development and fintech, to support entrepreneurs in developing their strategy and measuring their impact. She is passionate about bringing together communities of knowledge and supporting marginalised voices to make a difference in the climate movement.
Zoe Yu Tung Law
Zoe is the CEO & Co-Founder of New Wave Biotech, building integrated tech solutions to unleash biotech innovation from lab to market for a greener and fairer future.
Prior to New Wave Biotech, Zoe also founded Sourcery, an Online Wholesale Marketplace for Sustainable Consumer Products, and co-founded CoVis, an app using location and public data to predict individual COVID risk and immunity that won the MIT COVID Challenge.
Before entering entrepreneurship, she spent 10 years launching new products and services for Fortune 500 companies and startups. With a focus on applying emerging technologies to develop innovative ventures, her work spans a wide range of industries including healthcare, tech, finance, consumer and energy sectors.
Beyond her work, Zoe also supports the startup community through training, coaching to entrepreneurs via organisations such as The Entrepreneurial Refugee Network (TERN), Hatch Enterprise, Hyper Island City University and Kingston University.
